Job Description:
1. Develop in-service Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) procedures;

2. Develop Part specific NDI techniques and Inspection procedures for composite aircraft parts;

3. Validate the use of calibrated reference standards and applicability to composite part features;

4. Develop material transfer values, porosity curves, defect definition, Qualitative and Quantitative Accept/Reject criteria;

5. Analyze Composite materials and processes, composite parts for manufacturability and inspectability (NDI);

Qualifications:As our ideal candidate,
1. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Materials, Metallurgy or Mechanical).

2. You are certified as a CGSB or ASNT or ISNT (Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing) NDT Level 2 or Level 3 in Eddy Current, Ultrasonic and/or Radiography.

3. You have a minimum of five years of experience in NDT.

4. You are knowledgeable about typical NDT aerospace codes and standards, NADCAP, and with the development of Non Destructive Inspection procedures;

5. You are familiar with the non-destructive inspection methodologies of composite materials, assemblies, aircraft structures, aerospace terminology and technical drawings;

6. You have shown strong leadership, problem solving, project, and time/priority management skills in your past assignments and require minimum supervision;

7. You have a good working knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, etc.

8. You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English.

9. You know how to conduct NDT technical audits in-line with your field of expertise;
