Instructions for EdCET 2016 Result and Rank Card

The rank obtained in TS EdCET Result 2016 is valid for entry into B.Ed. course for the academic year 2016- 2017 only.

Request for re-totalling or revaluation or personal identification of scripts will not be entertained.

Ranking Methodology

• Candidates will be ranked in each methodology in the order of merit on the basis of marks obtained in TS Ed.CET 2016 examination.
• Where there is a tie in total marks, Part-C marks will be taken into account to decide relative ranking.
• In case of further tie, the marks obtained in Part-A will be taken into account to decide relative ranking.
• In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the parts of the test paper, they shall be bracketed for the purpose of award of rank. At the time of admission into the course, age shall be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates and the older candidates shall be given priority.

2. Login: Enter hall ticket number to login (both results and rank card page ask hall ticket number only).
3. Check result / Download Rank Card
   • If you are on the results page, check your result. Note the marks score and rank.
   • If you are on the rank card download page, go through the rank card and print it.

TS EdCET 2016 Web Counselling

Document Verification

Verification of documents for web counselling usually starts in the month of July or August. This is followed by web option entry at the TS EdCET 2016 Counselling website.

Web option entry

Candidates are called in order of rank for document verification and asked to enter order preferences of B.Ed colleges and seats. Online web option form is made available for qualified candidates to enter their choices.

There are around 189 colleges in Telangana that offer B.Ed Admission on the basis of TS EdCET Results.
