TANCET 2016, also known as the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, is looked forward to be conducted by Anna University. Each year TANCET is held in the month of May for admission to PG programmes – MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan. This year the TANCET 2016 notification has been delayed seemingly due to the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. As soon as TANCET 2016 is notified, eligible candidates can register for TANCET 2016. Applicants will get TANCET Hall Tickets to appear in the exam. For admission in participating colleges, result of TANCET 2016 will be used with candidate’s preference order, during Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA).

TANCET 2016 Exam Date
Last year the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test was held on 17th May. This year it was expected that TANCET 2016 (Anna University) will be held in the third week of May. Now it is expected that exam could be held in last week of May. Exam date of TANCET 2016 will be decided by Anna University.
TANCET 2016 Application Form
Online registration for TANCET is done at the official website of Anna University, annauniv.edu. Like last year, this year also it is anticipated that TANCET 2016 application form / online registration will be done on TANCET portal at Anna University website.

- Application fee (which was Rs 250 for SC and ST candidates, and Rs 500 for others last year) payment must be done in modes prescribed only.
