West Bengal Postal Circle Postman Result 2015

 West Bengal Post Office Mail guard, postman Exam 2015 Merit List, Result and Cut off Marks will be uploaded shortly by authority member through online service. As of now, board members have not decided any exact date for result but it was expected in October and November month. Applicants are requested to download their respective results through online mode by visiting official site wbpost.eadmissions.net and no other options are available. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Department of Post from the Government of India has conducted the postal recruitment written examination to selecting the eligible candidates for the post of Postman and Mail Guard. The WB Postal Circle exam was held on 23rd August 2015.

Today Indian Postal Service had more than 154,866 post offices in over India which serve postal services in Urban as well as rural areas. The Indian Post is existence and it is part of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Government of India. The main responsibility of Indian post is to handover confidential documents through parcel & Courier to remote areas with minimal service charge.

West Bengal Postal Circle issues the employment notification every year. Before a month ago there was a recruitment advertisement that was published by West Bengal Postal Circle to recruit 359 eligible candidates for the post of mail guard & postman. Huge numbers of application were received for both this post. Due to huge recruitment drive, eligible candidates had applied for these Posts by sending application form to official address before deadline. Recently, authority member of Rajasthan post office has successfully conducted the Written Exam on 23rd September as per fixed schedule.

WB Postal Circle Postman & MG result Result 2015

The candidate was subjected to an Aptitude Test of the level of 10th Class. The written exam consists of Objective type questions. The question paper consist of total 100 question each question carry 1 marks, the total marks of examination is 100. The exam paper consists of 3 parts: Part A includes 25 questions on General Knowledge, Reasoning and Analytical Ability. Part B includes 25 marks questions on Mathematics. Part C includes 25 marks question from English language and 25 marks question from Regional Language.

WB Post Office Postman & MG Exam Cut off Marks

The candidates will be selected through written test and oral Interview. The shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for an oral interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in both written test and oral interview.
  • Unreserved – 40% marks i.e. minimum 10 marks in each part and 40 % in aggregate.
  • OBC– 37% marks i.e. minimum 9 marks in each part and 37% in aggregate.
  • SC/ST– 33% marks i.e. minimum 8 marks in each part and 33% in aggregate.
The candidate has to qualify in each part besides securing prescribed aggregate marks. The minimum qualifying marks to be obtained in each part of the Exam as mentioned above.
