- For Sailors : VIII Standard pass. Maritime school new entrants cour either deck or engine department and proficient in swimming and knowledge of konkani with experience.
- For Fitter : ITI Certificate in trade of Fitter and 3 years experience in relevant trade and knowledge of konkani.
- Nationality : Indian
- Age Limit : 40 years
