JOB SUMMARY:
Company Profile:
The main broad and overall objective of the centre is to sustain and develop a national research data-base on cancer, diabetes, CVD and stroke through recent advances in electronic information technology with a national collaborative network, so as to undertake aetiological, epidemiological, clinical and control research in these areas.
Job Description:Responsibilities :1. Applications are invited for the post of Programmer and Data Entry Operator (Grade-B) to be filled up on purely temporary and ad-hoc basis under various projects (*) at National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research-National Cancer Registry Programme, Bangalore.
Programmer:1. To develop software application programmes for disease data capture, checking, processing, analysis and reporting under the guidance of the senior software programmers. The incumbent will have to assist other senior scientists to develop outputs on different aspects of Cancer, CVD, Diabetes and Stroke towards conducting research in these areas
Qualification:
1. Master’s Degree in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science from a recognized University. OR
2. B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering, IT from a recognized University with 2 years experience in relevant areas of programming
Data Entry Operator:
1. All office related work assigned from time to time and also data entry.
Qualification:
1. 12th Pass in Science Stream with Mathematics as a subject from recognized board. OR
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application/IT/Computer Sciences from a recognized Institution/ University.
