Job Role Analyst - IT Infrastructure
JOB SUMMARY:
Company profile :
1. Responsible for ensuring all events are escalated as per defined SLO’s.
2. Perform advanced troubleshooting of IT Infrastructure alerts reported via Event Management Console and performing event correlation, review and closure.
3. Resolve and remediate any issues and errors reported on AS400 BCV and Non BCV backups.
4. Co-ordinate with application teams to ensure that the critical streams meet their SLA’s.
5. Work on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative
6. Act as a point of contact for scheduling related issues.
7. Responsible for creating, managing and migrating of job streams, calendars on ControlM and AS400 LPARS
8. Perform Tape Management related activities like tape availability, recall and vault inventory management.
9. Ensure that the incidents are owned, actioned and emails responded to as per the defined standards.
10. Create, track and co-ordinate on incidents relating critical issues until completion.
Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or appropriate technical/functional discipline or equivalent technical certifications. Fluent in English (written and spoken)
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a GNOC/Command Center/Datacenter environment.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience as an SME.
4. Should have through knowledge of Control-M Enterprise Manager GUI, Desktop Manager, BIM and Configuration Manager.
5. In-depth understanding of AS400, BRMS and Media Management.
6. ITIL Certification is a must.
7. Certifications on Control-M, AS400 and Server/Networks will be an added advantage.
8. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
9. Fluent in written and spoken English.
10. Willingness to travel (globally).
