The Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh (SPIC) has been set up under the aegis of the Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration for implementing the various plans of the Administration to promote the IT industry in Chandigarh. The Chairperson of the Society is the Adviser to the Administrator.

Job Description:1. As an Application Development Engineer, the selected individual will be responsible to work with the Boeing Digital Aviation team to develop, maintain and improve to design and deliver superior user experience on all designated applications including Total Airspace and Airport Modeler (TAAM) and potentially other products to provide a world-class modeling and simulation tool suite for Boeing customers globally.

2. The selected individual will be responsible to develop suitable modeling approaches to develop a portfolio of rich capabilities that caters to a broad range of requirements from diverse customers in multiple Digital Aviation domains.

3. The selected individual will also be responsible to provide support to develop of internal competency and resources for critical skill sets and create a core modeling expertise for the Digital Aviation solutions team in Boeing India.

4. This position develops and maintains technical relationships / partnerships with customers, suppliers, peers, partners and team members to execute on projects.

5. This position will require some travel within India and internationally.

Candidate Profile:
Qualifications :
1. 5+ years of experience with last 2 years as an Application developer.

2. Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, or Engineering is required and a Master’s degree is preferred.

3. Candidates with Aviation related application development background will be preferred.
