Job Description:
Responsibilities:1. Collaborate with EI professionals in North America region, contribute to research and production of subscription and consulting work products

2. Conduct secondary research on government mandates, track policies and regulations for North America power markets and across fuels like Coal, Gas, Renewables
3. Working as a team with EI professionals in other global locations, conduct research on market developments, industry trends and companies benchmarking
4. Periodically highlight key findings, trends and conflicting information/data for EI analysts’ review and attention
5. Update and maintain database using market intelligence for Global-EI professionals use obtained from secondary research
6. Review data and trends to confirm and validate accuracy – trend analysis, and explain drivers for data trends/ discontinuity
Candidate Profile:
Desired Skills & Experience:1. 2-5 years of prior experience in secondary research and power modeling for the North America region

2. Knowledge of Aurora Power modeling is a big plus (or other power dispatch models)
3. Comfortable working with large amounts of data – experience in MS-Excel, Power point is required
4. Reading and writing skills in international business English, good communication skills, and a natural bent for multi-tasking and good organization
5. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
6. Proven comfort level with data research
7. A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as a team
8. Bachelor’s degree required; degree in business /engineering/sciences/math is a plus
9. Proficiency in additional languages apart from English would be a plus, but is not required
10. Valid work permit or citizenship in India
