Possession of First Class Master Certificate under Inland Steam Vessels Act, 1917 (1 of 1917) or Possession of Certificate of Competency as Master of a Steam Vessel having engine of any nominal Horse Power, (or) of a Motor vessel having engines of any Break Horse Power, issued by the Mercantile Marine Department under Major Ports Harbour Crafts Rules and Three years experience in handling vessels with above capacity with knowledge of Swimming.
