  • Educational Qualification : 
  • For Geologists : Master’s degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science and Resource Management or Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies or Petroleum Geo sciences or Petroleum Exploration or Geochemistry or Geological Technology or Geophysical Technology from a University.
  • For Geophysicists : M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics) or M.Sc (Applied Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics) Or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics) from a University.
  • For Chemists : M. Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature or other educational Institutes established by an Act of the Parliament or declared to be deemed Universities under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 i.e. recognized University.
  • For Junior Hydrgeologists : Master’s degree in Geology OR Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India OR other educational Institutes established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 OR Master’s degree in Hydrogeology from a recognized University.
  • Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : As on 01.01.2016
  • For Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist : 21 to 32 years
  • For Jr. Hydrogeologist : 21 to 35 years

  • For Specialist : A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and Post Graduate degree in concerned Specialty or Super- Specialty with relevant experience.
  • For Civilian Medical Officers : A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of the educational qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should fulfil the condition stipulated in Sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
