Staff Selection Commission has organized All India Exam for Stenographer Post. Aspirants were collected to appear for Offline Exam on 31st January, 2016. Information about SSC Steno Result is provided in this Article. Result Updates will also available on this Page.
It Should be noted that SSC has invited Online Applications for 50 Posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & 1014 Posts of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. Vacancies of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ are in Ministries/Departments of Central Government, located mostly in Delhi. Vacancies of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ are for Ministries/Departments of Central Government including Attached/Subordinate offices located in States and Union Territories all over the country.
Result for the above stated Stenographer Grade C & D Exam will be declared shortly. SSC will place result on its official website. You will also get Direct Link to check Result for both Grade C & D, Cut Off Marks. All Information will also available on (www.ssc.nic.in).
Skill test in Stenography : Candidates who obtain the qualifying marks in the Written Examination as may be prescribed by the Commission will only be called for the Skill Test. It may also prescribe qualifying marks in each part of the Written Examination. THE SKILL TEST WILL BE OF QUALIFYING NATURE and the Commission will fix the qualifying standards in the skill test for different categories of candidates.
- The candidates will have to appear for the stenography test. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer only. The evaluation of transcription will be done electronically only. The transcription time is as follows:-
- For Stenographer Grade ‘D’ : 50 minutes ( English ) & 65 minutes ( Hindi )
For Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 40 minutes ( English ) & 55 Minutes ( Hindi )
