UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam Pattern 2015

The UPSC CDS Exam consists of 3 Phases. Candidates will be selected based upon their performance in the following tests :

Written Test.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Personal Interview.
Medical Examination.

The Union PSC Combined Defense Services Written Test consists of the following features:

The examination is of Objective type i.e it consists of Multiple Choice Questions.
Duration of each paper is 2 Hours.
Each paper is conducted for 100 marks.
There is a negative marking for each wrong answer.
The examination for Elementary Maths paper is of Matriculation standard.
