Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-32 years for post 1, 18-27 years for post 2 as on 30-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC & 10 years for physically handicapped candidates as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Civil Engineering for post 1, Matriculation or with Equivalent Diploma or Certificate of a registered/ recognized institute in surveying/ Draftsmanship (Civil) for post 2.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test and skill test.
Examination Fee: Candidates hvae to pay Rs. 100/- through Demand Draft in favour of Principal Director, Defence Estates, Northern Command, Jammu Cantt. payable at State Bank of India, Satwari Branch, Jammu. No fee for SC/ ST/ Women candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format along with self attested xerox copies of all documents, two passport size photographs duly self attested (one is to be affixed on the form and other to be enclosed with the application), two self addressed envelopes of size 10 cms x 22 cms affixed with Rs. 5/- postal stamp each, self addressed post card with Rs. 5/- postage stamp affixed, fee by ordinary post only to Principal Director, Defence Estates, Min. of Defence, Northern Command, Narwal Pain, P.O. Satwari, Jammu Cantt, Pin-180003 on or before 30-01-2016 & 15-02-2016 for remote areas.
