AFCAT Syllabus 2015: AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. AFCAT 2 notification was released on 27th june 2015. So, many candidates are applied for this Exam. AFCAT test is conducted by the Indian Air Force for selection of officers in all branches of the IAF (except medical and dental) viz. Flying Branch (Short Service Commission only), Technical Branch (Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission) and Ground Duty Branch (Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission). AFCAT Exam 2015

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is the admission test conducted to the applicants who applied for Flying, Technical Branch and Ground Duty branches in IAF. Every year IAF conducts AFCAT admission test to recruit the young aspirants to fill the vacancies in various branches of IAF.

AFCAT 2015 Exam Pattern

• The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions.
• All questions will be of three marks each.
• For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking.
• The total time allotted for the paper is two hours.

AFCAT Syllabus 2015

AFCAT Syllabus:

Afcat exam 2015 mainly consists of 3 Subjects they are:

1. General Awareness:

• History, Sports, Geography, Environment.
• Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art
• Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

2.Verbal Ability in English:

•  Comprehension
• Error Detection
• Sentence Completion
• Synonyms
• Antonyms
• Testing of Vocabulary.

3. Numerical Ability:

• Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average
• Profit & loss, Percentage
• Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

4. Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test:

• Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.
