Job Title : Training Specialist - Contract Research (GMP)
Job Purpose :
- To ensure that the analytical development function operates to common standards of technical excellence within a GMP environment
- To deliver, maintain and enhance training and development packages for core analytical functions.
Job Description :
- To deliver, maintain and enhance training and development packages for core analytical functions and technologies for Protein analysis.
- Induction of new starters to the department with core elements for the specified role
- Collaboration with team leads for team development and role definition
- Ensure consistency of training and analytical method execution across analytical teams, developing technical packages alongside SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Delivery of training for quality system record analysis and gap closure (e.g.RCA, good deviation writing, capa assessment)
- Execute a Train the Trainer program to maximise expertise distribution in the department
- Coordination of analytical training activities with QC technical trainer
- Interact with site training department to fulfill training database requirements
Qualification : Educated to at least degree level in a biological science or equivalent experience.
Skills :
- Experience of establishing technical training programmes within a GMP/GLP environment
- Proven presentation, interviewing and coaching skills for the continued development of analytical staff at all levels
- Project management skills to ensure delivery of training programmes in line with analytical business plan
- Experience of working for a contract research organization.
