Important Note:- The overall co-ordination and responsibility of conductingGATE 2016 lies with in Indian Institute of Sciences which is designated as the Organizing Institute (OI) for GATE 2016. GATE 2016 Exam is conducted Online & Commence from 30 January to 07  February on various dates in Forenoon session & afternoon session.

DATES OF GATE 2015 EXAM :- 30, 31 January & 6, 7 February, 2015.

► Admit Card for the GATE 2016 will available for Download from 29 December, 2015 from the Official Website of IISC, as well as on the Zonal Offices.

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the GATE-2016 Exam is as Follows:-

► GATE 2016 would contain questions of two different types : (i) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and (ii) Numerical Answer Questions.
► In all the papers, there will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks are in General Aptitude (GA).
