Job Description:Responsibilities:1. Play a lead role in the design and development of new Time Inc Mobile and Native applications
2. Play a lead role in the development of a Native application platform and application APIs that allow Time Inc to deliver applications quickly and iterate rapidly on concepts
3. Collaborate closely with other developers, designers and editorial staff to define innovative UI and functionalities optimized for mobile platforms
4. Investigate and resolve application issues, bottlenecks and inefficiencies
5. Work with other mobile teams across the company to utilize and establish best practices for mobile development
6. Lead by example and produce high quality code that establishes coding standards and best practices for the team
7. Provide technical mentorship to engineers on the team
8. Deliver high quality work on tight schedules
Candidates Profile:
Experience Required :1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
2. 5+ years of professional software development experience
3. 3+ years of iOS and/or Android application development experience
4. Deep understanding of Objective-C and the internals of iOS frameworks
5. Experience leading development of complex and highly responsive mobile applications that have been successfully delivered to customers
