The Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh (SPIC) has been set up under the aegis of the Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration for implementing the various plans of the Administration to promote the IT industry in Chandigarh. The Chairperson of the Society is the Adviser to the Administrator.
Job Description:Skills & Experience:1. Past experience and knowledge in modeling ATM / ATC operations, airline operations, airport operations, pilot behavior, trajectories, aircraft performance, decision support systems. Background in programming behavior related to aircraft movement and air traffic processes is a plus.
2. Must have expertise in a variety of mathematical modeling and simulation techniques including Discrete Event Simulation, Agent Based Modeling and Simulation, algorithm development, and numerical techniques.
3. Experience in developing functional requirements specification and hands-on experience using simulation model development tools would be a plus.
4. Must have knowledge and hands-on experience with model development tools like C++, C#.
5. Must have experience working with cross-functional teams comprising business analysts, architects, application developers, project managers, product owner, QA, DBAs, UXD, Mobility, operations/support engineers spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners.
