Job Description:
Agilent seeks an enthusiastic and people-oriented Remote Technical Support Engineer whose primary role is to provide customers with online technical service and application support to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the contact point for customers calling call centre for technical service request.
- Provide post sales online technical services (such as repair, installation and operation) and applications assistance in response to customer requests on their laboratory Instruments and software.
- Interface with customers to answer their enquiries on Agilent products and services via different communication channels like telephone call, email, web etc.
- Establish and maintain effective lines of communication with workload administrator, field service engineer, management and cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and/or Biology or Biochemistry and equivalent work/project experience.
- Hands on experience on laboratory analytical Instruments such as Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry etc
- Understand customer need and take ownership for customer satisfaction. Ability to set customer expectations correctly and manages difficult situations professionally.
- Possess good analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to manage a highly pressurized and demanding multitasking environment on a daily basis.
- Good language skills with effective and concise communication abilities - verbal, written and listening. This job requires interfacing with Malay speaking customers in the regions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team without direct supervision.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and effective use of CRM, planning and administrative tools.
