Eastern Coalfields Limited has issued a notification for ECL Recruitment. ECL, a Subsidiary of Coal India Limited invites applications from candidates belonging to State of West Bengal & Jharkhand for Mining Training for a period of four years to enable them to obtain Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency. Eligibility Criteria:

• Applying contenders must be able bodied & found fit to work in the mines to be certified by Company’s own medical Officers for employment in Mines as per Medical standard as prescribed under Mines Act-1952 and Rules made there under & as per company’s established standard and practice.
• Appliers must have passed Senior Secondary School Examination or Intermediate Examination or its equivalent examination from recognized Board or institutions.

Age Limitation:

• Minimum age of applicants should be 18 years and maximum is 23 years as on 01st January 2016.
• Relaxation in age will be offered as per organization norms.

Selection Process:

Classification of aspirants will be done by ECL based on the Marks obtained (Percentage) in the Senior Secondary School or Intermediate or its equivalent examination and a written test/interview which will be conducted by selection panel of Eastern Coalfields Limited.
