Job Description:
Responsibilities:1. The person will be primarily responsible for handling key modules for a large HP BSM product – handling large codebase of modules that span across both C++ and Java areas.
Responsibilities:1. The person will be primarily responsible for handling key modules for a large HP BSM product – handling large codebase of modules that span across both C++ and Java areas.
2. He/she will be responsible for addition of new functional features, implement ER’s, handle defects to support the product roadmap and its customer base.
3. He/she will also be responsible for the root-cause analysis of any issues reported by the customers that come to the R&D lab.
4. He/she will be responsible for driving innovation and integration of new technologies into the project and activities in the software applications design organization.
5. Review and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with applications design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
6. Analyze the root cause of a complicated and high scale IT environments problems, research, debug and drive to a resolution while supplying the best solution

Qualifications :
Knowledge and Skills: 1. 2 to 6 years of experience in C++ and Java development

C++ Skill Set:1. Good Knowledge in system level programing in C++ Templates and STL
2. Good knowledge of windows application debugging tools like Windbg, Debugdiag,
3. Good hands on with Visual Studio, MSDN, Winddbg
4. Good familiarity with network debugging tools like Fiddler, Wireshark
5. Basic knowledge of TCP/IP
6. Familiarity with Linux development environment
7. Familiarity with Wireshark –Advantage
8. Knowledge in Web protocols –Advantage
